Case study

Rijk Zwaan

When Rijk Zwaan’s previous advisors withdrew from giving corporate advice, they came to Ardent for a comprehensive review of their group pension scheme.

Overview

Rijk Zwaan UK’s previous advisors had withdrawn from giving corporate advice, so they chose Ardent to carry out a full review of their existing Group Pension Scheme to ensure it was competitively priced and Auto-Enrolment ready.

Solutions

We conducted extensive research on the existing scheme to ensure it met with the company’s aims both now and in the future.

Results

We were able to recommend a more cost effective Group Pension Scheme that would save the members money in annual management charges compared to their existing scheme. The new scheme is also auto-enrolment compliant, reducing costs for the company in the long term.

Testimonial

Ardent have recently overseen the introduction of an auto-enrolment compliant pension scheme at the UK office of the global vegetable and salad seed breeding and distribution supplier Rijk Zwaan.

Jayne Copeland, Country Manager at the Pocklington office said:

“The team at Ardent Financial Planning worked with us every step of the way when we chose to update our pension scheme to the auto-enrolment model.

“Their advice was invaluable. Despite the complexities involved they oversaw a seamless transition to the new arrangement. Members of staff are delighted with their new pension scheme.”
